Description
Check out the video tab to see a run through of this setup that I built for a customer.
The Maxx Mini ECU doesn’t necessarily have to control fueling and spark on an engine, it can be used as a high end logger and boost controller (gear, time, speed based) or nitrous controller, shift light, etc. It could even be used on a gen1 busa with extra injectors (control the extra injectors based on boost, leave the stock injectors for off boost).
There are a lot of options, but $1250 would include a MaxxMini,Maxx wideband O2 sensor that interfaces through CAN, wiring to sensors (but no sensors), those would be extra.
Connect an on-the-go cable to your phone/tablet and use the Realdash app to display parameters you are logging/controlling
The setup in the photos was configured as follows:
RPM
Wideband o2 over CAN
Boost pressure
Intake air temp
Intercooler water temp
Fuel pressure
Wastegate pressure
Throttle position
Speed
Gear position (calculated)
With outputs galore:
Using 3 outputs to run a tri color LED to indicate which of 3 boost modes are being used
Boost add solenoid wiring
Boost subtract solenoid wiring
Could do shift light but customer didn’t need it
And still has a few outputs left
Customer will use the mode up button on his gen2 busa to select different boost modes by short press, long press, etc., and led will change color to indicate
